Around the Mountains
Weather
Season: Spring
Year: One
Feels: The air is cool and rapidly warming. Mist lays around the tall mmountains in the early morning and the greens are coming back to life. Most forest creatures have come out of hibernation. Flowers now ajourn the meadows once again as do animals amongst the forests. The air is moist and warming despite mild showers.

4.23.08 I have updated a lot and have been advertising some too. We need more active members guys. In your spare time please advertise. Thanks. By the way I'v undergone a name change. Its now [ Stryder ] if you haven't noticed. You can still call me lexi if you would like though. I am working on getting/making a main picture. If anyone can make or get a proffesional picture for now at least that would be much appreciated. Our banner is now up as well. <3 Stryder.

Optics rested upon the night skies and the brute sighed. Would he ever find a home at all? Find some place to call home? These questions never left his head. Tassels lashed around and the tip of his whipcord hit his flank as he lowered his head.

Nipping on a few blades of grass he raised his cranium before nickering out to see if any one would answer. Ebon Hooves and Ebonite body blended with the night as the stars gleam fell upon him. Optics turned a coll black blue and his eyes shut for a moment.

'Mommy.' He Remembered from his past. 'Mother No you can't be. You can't be.' Those were the words from the night his mother died. A fire from the hot heat and the gleaming sun. A wild fire. 'Mommy I will love you forever. And be strong and grow up for you to be proud for me.' Those words were what kept him alive. Strong and brave was what he had to be for his mother.

Pain from the night of that he winced a tear back. He couldn't cry. He hasn't cried for almost from the day he was born. He had a love once but he came to hate her. She had denied him all the time. He was a true teller but no one belivd him. Never. Forelock laid over his eyes as he shook his head and whickered out again.

Hoof after hoof was laid down as he walked. He couldn't get out the images of the fire and his mother any more. He felt as if he would melt down, but he didn't. Heart ached for his mother but she never sounded sad in his voice.

His expression was never faded by the fake smiled but always wanted to show it. Shadow Knight was the name his adoptive mother named him. For being so strong and so brave. Shadow was for his mother. She always wanted a foal named Shadow and she got it. When he makes a wrong turn or choice it is as if his mother makes him re-think it.

Shadow Knight came upon a herd of sleeping horses. None of them looked awake so he didn't bother with going to any of them. Going to a tree he folded his knees and front end descended. Maw was to the ground and then back came to the ground as he laid his tiara upon the ground. Closing ebon lids, his blue eyes disappeared and he fell in a light sleep.

Then after awhile. He arose, orbs looking at the land. As he turned and walk away from the horses. His maw wide open. As he let his booming voice echo through the land. His daggers flinging up into the air, kicking his hooves. Then slamming the down into the ground. As he looked at the land. Claiming it, for him and his mares and his friends, the stallions, to come, and help his start this herd..

Rainbow Valley


Settled between two very small mountains some say that when the sunrays hit the peeks just right a rainbow will form over the whole valley. Overall it is a very peaceful land mostly free from predators with a small creek running through it.
